Support & Maintenance.

Everything you need to unpack, pitch, and preserve your AirDugOut shelter for years of professional sideline use.

Receiving & Unboxing

What's Inside the Box?

Your AirDugOut arrives in a single securely banded heavy-duty transport box weighing roughly 24kg gross. Inside you will find:

  • 1x AirDugOut 3.5m Inflatable Shelter
  • 1x Heavy Duty 70x40x40cm Carry Bag
  • 1x USB-Rechargeable Electric Pump
  • 8x Heavy-Duty Steel Ground Pegs
  • 4x High-Vis Guy Ropes (Pre-attached)
  • 1x Basic Tear-Repair Patch Kit

Important Unboxing Safety

DO NOT use sharp knives or box-cutters deeply when opening the delivery carton. The transport bag and the AirDugOut fabric sit directly beneath the cardboard flaps. Careless cutting is the #1 cause of unboxing damage.

Always retain your proof of purchase and inspect the contents immediately upon receipt before taking it to a muddy field.

First Time Setup

Pitching the AirDugOut is designed to be a rapid, single-person operation. For your first setup, we recommend practicing on a clean, dry lawn. Most users are fully set up in under 5 minutes.

Usage Precautions

Wind Extremes

While rated for severe winds, no temporary structure is entirely invincible. If wind speeds exceed 45mph (Gale Force 8), we advise deflating the shelter for safety. A deflated AirDugOut cannot blow away or cause injury.

Studded Footwear

The AirDugOut does not have a sewn-in groundsheet specifically to allow athletes wearing studded boots (football, rugby) to enter it without puncturing the base layer or bringing mud inside a sealed floor.

Heat & Fire

The 420D Oxford cloth is fire-retardant treated, but not fire-proof. Keep all open flames (cigarrettes, camping stoves, flares) strictly away from the shelter.

Extended UV Exposure

This is a rapid-deployment temporary shelter. While UV-treated, leaving the shelter fully pitched outdoors for weeks at a time during peak summer will eventually degrade the branded sublimation limits.

Care & Maintenance

Taking care of the AirDugOut dictates its lifespan. A well-maintained unit will last for many rigorous seasons.

The Golden Rule: Never pack away wet.

It is inevitable that you will pack the AirDugOut away in the pouring rain. However, the absolute most important rule of ownership is that you must unroll it and let it dry within 48 hours. Leaving a wet shelter compacted in a bag will cause black mould/mildew to grow on the fabric and permanently stain any custom branding or logos.

Cleaning Mud & Debris

Do not use aggressive chemicals, bleach, or power washers. Simply wait for the mud to dry, brush it off with a soft-bristle brush, and wipe down the affected areas with warm, soapy water and a sponge.

Puncture Repair

While the internal TPU bladders are entirely encased in heavy-duty protective sleeves, punctures can occasionally happen (usually from malicious needle attacks or extreme negligence). It is exceptionally easy to clean with a wet cloth, and the shelter comes with an easy-to-use and fast repair kit, much like repairing a bicycle tyre.
